An existing Shopify theme can be a good starting point while still falling short in specific areas. Product pages might lack information needed to choose an item, variants may be difficult to use on a phone, or content editing might not match your team’s needs. We start with those concrete tasks.
We consider templates, sections and installed apps together. Before building a new feature, we review what Shopify or an existing app already supports. Custom development also needs a maintenance plan: your team should understand which content it can change itself and which changes require technical support.

Can you adapt our existing Shopify theme?
Yes. We first review the theme version, existing changes and installed apps. Tell us what should change on product pages, in your content or in the buying flow. A full theme replacement is not automatically needed when the requirement can be addressed well within the current setup.
When should we use an app rather than custom development?
An existing app may fit when it supports the required workflow and works well in your shop. We also consider ongoing costs, dependencies and maintenance. Custom development is an option where an app does not address the requirement appropriately and Shopify provides the necessary capabilities.
Can every Shopify checkout be customised?
No. Available changes depend on the plan and supported extension capabilities. We assess the specific request against those prerequisites. A feature should only be agreed once it is clear where it can be implemented and which constraints apply.
Do you also connect Shopify to other systems?
Yes. For products, stock or orders, we review Shopify and the external system together. Available interfaces, suitable access and clear data ownership are needed. We agree on which information should be transferred and when for the specific workflow.
