Also consider how the extension fits your theme, sales channels and other installed plugins. A matching feature name is a useful starting point, but does not answer all of those questions.

Follow the link on a plugin to open its product page. The Shopware Store lists current prices, licensing terms and supported versions. As those details can change, the individual Store page is the reference to use when choosing a version for your installation.

How do I check whether a plugin fits my shop?

Compare the documented features with your actual workflow, then consider your theme, sales channels and other extensions. Try changes in a suitable test environment first. If you are unsure about an interaction, send us your Shopware version and a description of the use case through the contact form.

When does custom plugin development make sense?

When existing extensions do not adequately support an important workflow. This might involve a particular approval, pricing rule or data processing requirement. We first review available Shopware features and plugins, then define which part genuinely needs a custom implementation.

Can you extend an existing plugin?

We assess that using the source code, licence and available extension points, alongside supported Shopware versions and other installed plugins. Depending on what we find, the requirement may be addressed through configuration, an additional extension or a targeted change.
